CALB's Energy Grid Capabilities
Energy Storage Stations - CALB
CALB batteries are used nationwide in China to store and distribute renewable energy. These large scale renewable energy projects often rely on the superior technology and operational capabilities of CALB products to make their energy storage systems a success. By partnering with the GuoDian Group to supply batteries for many of its storage stations, CALB is helping to provide green energy to China's cities and rural areas.
Power Generation Applications
To have an efficient distribution of renewable electricity, a large scale energy storage station must be created near the energy generation site. These systems prevent a renewable energy grid from having to pull electricity from a traditional grid system to power their customers during slower periods of generation. Therefore, with the applied use of an energy storage station, renewable energy can be flexible to its consumer's needs regardless of current electricity generation rates.
Power Distribution Capabilities
Utilizing a proper storage systems allows for greater management of renewable energy. An advanced ESS, like the ones made with CALB, is capable of completing peak load shifting when needed and can maintain power quality even with a high load. Such an ESS is also capable of delaying transmission of energy when demand is low so as to be as efficient as possible.
Benefits of Lithium-Ion Batteries in Small Energy Storage Systems
Unlike Lead Acid batteries, traditionally used in ESS, Lithium-Ion batteries offer increased flexibility in the size and location of its set up. CALB's Lithium-Ion batteries are lighter than Lead Acid, do not require increased room ventilation to operate, and are smaller in size which allows them to be used in compact and even vertically mounted spaces. Additionally, an ESS made with CALB's Lithium-Ion batteries can be expected to charge and discharge effectively, require less maintenance, and operate in adverse environments with greater capacity and reliability than Lead Acid batteries.
